Create World class systems, processes and facilities. Expertise in using Lean tools, Six Sigma and techniques such as 5S, TPM, Pokayoke towards improving bottom line. Effective trainer of employees to create self motivated teams through soft skills training and training in above subjects.
Has a wide experience of leading MNC organizations as Plant Head and Operations head in Auto, Consumer durables, Electronics, Light and Heavy Engineering Industries. Brought in products from Europe and Asian countries and successfully introduced them in Indian market. Widely travelled and closely interacted with Global teams in various aspects. Experience of being in the board meeting as well as handling down the line employees. Now having my own consultancy, focusing on training and consulting to create world class processes, assets and people.
Holds Bachelor of Engineering Mechanical degree with MBA in International Business from ICFAI. Trained as Lead audit in ISO 14000 / OHSAS 18000 and auditor for ISO 9000. Trained in TPM by Yamaguchi San and have trained and implemented all Lean tools. Part of CII jury to judge all their Kaizen, 5S and Pokayoke competitions.
Dr. Balamurugan is author of Amazon best seller, “A Ride on the Road to Excellence”, a book which addresses challenges and problems faced by most executives. Author takes his friends on a motorbike ride and through the experiences faced in that outdoor ride, through forests, rivers and mountains, the riders learn management lessons.
